My name is Peter DiStefano and I am the owner of Pulse Fit Training. I grew up being very involved in sports and fitness. I played basketball, baseball, football and always found myself working out in the gym. Sports, exercise, and health were my passion and I wanted to figure out a way to make a living utilizing all of these to some degree.
I went on to college at Salem State University where I received a bachelors in exercise science and acquired my personal training certification from the American council of exercise also known as “ACE”. It all begun in 2012-2013 where I started personal training and group training in a corporate fitness club.
I would work with young kids, athletes, and adults. When I started my journey, I knew that one day I’d want to run my own business helping more people. So in 2019 I opened Pulse Fit Training and it was the best decision I could have ever made. I can help clients with 1on1 private training, group training and nutritional accountability.
I love operating a community-based gym where all the customers know one another and create good relationships amongst each-other. There is no better feeling than motivating someone to reach their goals and truly feel like you are making a difference in the world.
My name is Laura Cluett-Sacco & I am lucky enough to be a trainer at Pulse Fit Training.I grew up doing competitive gymnastics & various physical activities.
I have always loved being active, feeling strong & pushing my body.As an adult I have tried multiple types of workouts; and I have found something I have enjoyed in each of them.
I fell in love with group fitness; the motivation from other people, the amount of energy that can be produced by everyone working hard & the desire to push myself within a group of hard working people. I have been working in the fitness industry since 2017; teaching classes, running small groups, creating & running weight loss challenges, one on one personal training, proper boxing technique and mitt work & managing a local fitness facility.
I have obtained my personal training certificate through ISSA; International Sports Sciences Association. I have worked with & along side amazing strength & conditioning coaches & professional boxers.
I love motivating people, seeing people progress, build confidence in themselves & improve their lives through fitness.
My name is Lauren Howe and I have been a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer since June 2021.
From 2010 to 2020 I was a second grade teacher in Everett, MA.
When Covid hit I chose to stay home and raise my two babies Olivia and Cameron.
While being a stay at home mom I decided to go for a career I've always wanted, fitness instructor.
I have always enjoyed working out and educating others so I decided to combine the two and fell in love.
I started my career at A Mom's Village where I helped women regain their strength and confidence while navigating motherhood.
Now I continue teaching at Pulse Fit Training where I get to work with both men and women who are at all different points of their fitness journey.
Seeing others crush their goals and show up for themselves makes me so happy and I am truly grateful I get to be a part of that.
With a robust background in sports medicine and strength training, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as a personal trainer at Pulse Fit Training.
I hold certifications as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Merrimack College and my Master of Science in Exercise Science (Biomechanics) from Auburn University.
My career includes five years in Division I collegiate athletics, where I provided athletic training for Auburn Baseball and Football, as well as UMass Lowell's Baseball, Field Hockey, and Women’s Soccer teams.
Currently, I work in medical device sales and have been a dedicated team member at Pulse Fit Training for about a year, where I apply my extensive knowledge to help clients achieve their fitness goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing softball, golf, and hockey, and spending quality time with family and friends
My name is Shamus Lombard and I have been with Pulse since May 2024. My passion for fitness stems from my athletic background, where I was a multi-sport athlete at St. John’s Prep. Fitness allowed me to pursue and accomplish of my dream of playing hockey at the collegiate and professional levels.
It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college at UMass Amherst that I discovered Kinesiology, the study of human body movement. Some of the classes bled into nutrition and athletic performance, so I immediately declared Kin as my major because it was very applicable to my life and passions.
UMass also provided me the opportunity to work in the Sports Performance Department, where I coached and programmed for several Division 1 teams.
As soon as I was done playing hockey myself, I brought my experiences to Equinox Sports Club in Boston, where I worked for two years as a personal trainer.
I still train high school and college hockey players at Real Speed Sports in Salem, NH.
Since arriving at Pulse, I have continued training privately while also transitioning into group fitness. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to meet clients wherever they are in their fitness journey, and using my experiences to garner their full potential.
Pulse has allowed me to work with many different clients and implement my own training styles, while delivering results that Pulse members expect.
